"Aunty Mary's" Funeral

Here are pictures from the second funeral we attended our first week in Hilo. Instead of "Brother" and "Sister" older people are called "Aunty" and "Uncle." The funerals are actually glorified luaus with live music and elaborate smorgasbords. They serve food before the services and after.

Floral arrangements made from tea leaves out of family members' homes.
